We are a friendly and welcoming practice for the whole family! Dr. Davenport and her staff go to great lengths to create a warm environment and provide individualized care. We pride ourselves in offering a variety of services and using cutting-edge equipment and techniques. These new technologies allow us to detect dental concerns at early stages, treat your oral health needs with precision, and provide stunning and customized restorations. When you visit our office, you can be confident you are receiving the finest and most advanced dental care available.
We also promote a whole-body health approach to dentistry, as oral health affects the whole body, not just one’s mouth. Oral health ailments have been linked to a number of issues including heart disease, Alzheimer’s, autoimmune diseases, premature birth, and many more. We strive to educate our patients on how optimal oral health promotes overall well-being.
Dr. Davenport brings a unique passion for dentistry having come from a long line of dentists, with a dentist in her family since 1893. She grew up in a small town in south Georgia where her father is a dentist. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia in 2009 and then graduated from UAB School of Dentistry in 2013. She completed an Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry at the VA Hospital in 2014.
Dr. Davenport has made a home in the Birmingham area with her husband, Jeff, their son, and dog, Pepper (a trained and certified dental anxiety dog). She loves the Birmingham community and is thrilled to have started here. She enjoys supporting locally owned businesses and participating in the community.
Paging Dr. Pepper, our dental anxiety pup! If going to the dentist makes you a little (or very) nervous, Pepper is here for you. She’ll sit perfectly still in your lap while you love on her throughout your procedure. Due to her popularity and limited work hours, please request Pepper prior to your appointment. In her spare time, Pepper enjoys the ruff life of napping and begging for treats.
